UNTAMED HEART 2025
UNTAMED HEART is my celebration of raw emotion. This exhibition reflects a journey of breaking free - free from artistic boundaries & expectations. My recent work embodies a certain spiritual power which has manifested with my search for the mystical with an expression of divinity that seeks to transcend form altogether.
I emotionally connect through painting with the complexities & mysteries of the face as a work of art.
In a world governed by patterns, Ganesh emerges in my work not as an idol but as an evolving presence, an ancient force evoking a nurturing yet powerful energy, reinforcing the idea of Gauri as the feminine principle within Ganesh, representing Shakti.
In the depths of the COVID-19 crisis, some works emerged as a visceral response to the fragility of human existence. The compositions weave together symbols of survival and loss. They were not just reflections of a global tragedy but an emotional imprint of isolation, fear, and the weight of collective grief.
My work is sculptural with its own meanings & contemplation, drawing inspiration from the enigma of nature.
I use reflective materials, light & pigment to create deeply layered, nuanced & emotive work. Through painting, I want to express the vulnerability & strength of revealing one’s true self.
In this digital age we live in, people feel a lot more connected to art in their isolation, and this exhibition is nothing more than my way of telling how I feel about life, about the soul of things.
The world is very precious, very sacred. Art and Spirituality speak to that & connect us all.
I dedicate this show to my parents Sundri & Feroz.
